Jeroen D’Hulst
Jeroen D'Hulst is Managing Partner at threon, a portfolio management consultancy with more than 100 specialists across offices in Ghent, Brussels, Luxembourg and Den Haag. He focuses on portfolio management and strategy realization, helping organizations shift from classic project execution toward choosing what not to do, focusing effort on fewer initiatives, and building the agility that lets strategy actually get delivered. He brings more than 20 years of experience translating strategic ambitions into practical roadmaps through portfolio design, benefit mapping, and data-driven decision-making, and holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from Ghent University. Earlier in his career, he managed large infrastructure projects, including the Financietoren in Brussels. Alongside Anton Zandhuis, he applies that experience to help organizations sustain transformation momentum once initial energy fades.
Leading Transformations That Last: Five Patterns Every Leader Should Know Why do so many transformations run out of energy before they create lasting value? Anton Zandhuis and Jeroen D'hulst answer that question in their session, "Leading Transformations That Last: Five Patterns Every Leader Should Know". This candid, no-nonsense session takes an honest look at why transformations lose momentum, at every level (individual, organizational, and strategic), offering fresh perspectives and actionable insights to lead with purpose and build the kind of culture that makes value last. Drawing on their work at threon, Anton and Jeroen walk through five recurring patterns that quietly derail even well-intentioned transformation efforts, from lost direction to depleted energy along the way. After a short introduction, participants work in small groups with a hands-on framework to reflect on their own transformation challenges, leaving with something they can put to use right away. The result is a grounded, practical look at what it actually takes to sustain change once the initial momentum fades.
